About MelT
Hello, I am Melissa Pittman. I was born and raised in Douglasville, GA and now live with my husband Robert, in Memphis. I started my business after I went to a party for a jewelry designer. I saw the jewelry designs and immediately my own ideas started coming to mind. In a quest for trendy, fun jewelry for myself, with out paying the high prices of the popular jewelry designers, I started playing around with different ideas and gradually got to a point where I thought I could show them to my friends without getting laughed at. Surprisingly, I had a great response. Everyone loved them! I continued thinking of new design ideas and getting requests from friends to sell my earrings. Now with my jewelry in stores and having regular home jewelry parties, I have been pleasantly surprised with the interest in MelT jewelry designs!
